SHOULD YOU HIRE BOTH A VIDEOGRAPHER AND A PHOTOGRAPHER SEPARATELY?

Should you enlist the services of both a wedding videographer and a wedding photographer? This question frequently arises in discussions among couples, and the answer lies in recognizing that these professionals don't compete; instead, they complement each other. Within Illingsworth Film I can suggest an excellent photographer.

Why not have both? Your wedding video becomes an additional treasure alongside your photographs, offering a dynamic and immersive way to relive the smiles, laughter, and moments with loved ones, even those who may no longer be present.

One of the most common regrets among brides and grooms is not hiring a wedding videographer. Once the day passes, there's no going back, and the memories captured by a videographer become priceless. Numerous articles on wedding regrets emphasize the significance of hiring a videographer, as seen on popular wedding blogs like Hitched, Bride, and Easy Weddings.

In essence, hiring a wedding videographer alongside your photographer ensures more vibrant and animated memories that stand the test of time.

What about photographers offering video highlights as part of their packages? Unless you're opting for a combined photo/video package with two shooters, understanding the differences is crucial. While some photographers include video highlights in their packages, there are notable distinctions.

Wedding photographers primarily focus on capturing photos. While modern cameras allow seamless transitions from photography to videography, photographers offering video highlights might not capture every significant moment, as they prioritize photography during crucial moments like the first kiss, confetti, or cake cutting.

Hiring a dedicated videographer means having the entire day captured on video. Videographers solely concentrate on filming, ensuring coverage of every important moment. Additionally, you'll likely receive a more extensive video, often referred to as a feature film or short film, in contrast to a highlights clip. This means all crucial moments, from the first kiss to the cake cutting, are meticulously documented.

We use multiple cameras to provide different angles, capturing the full ceremony, speeches, and everything in between. If you desire a comprehensive and detailed record of your day, hiring a separate videographer is the ideal choice.

In conclusion, the combination of a wedding photographer and videographer offers a well-rounded and complete documentation of your special day. SHARING YOUR FILMS?

Please keep in mind that when you book with me, there's a possibility that I'll share excerpts from your wedding film on social media. Rest assured, you'll always be the first to access the films, and I'll notify you before sharing, ensuring I tag you and your suppliers. If absolute privacy is a priority for you, I might not be the right videographer. Your investment is in my ability to create a beautiful film capturing one of your most cherished moments, and while I deeply value that, I also put considerable effort into my work and appreciate having the option to showcase it.

HOW MANY HOURS COVERAGE?

Usually, the coverage spans approximately 10-12 hours. I generally arrive three hours prior to your ceremony and depart approximately 60 minutes after your first dance.

HOW LONG WILL OUR WEDDING VIDEO BE?

There are three creative wedding films I offer, the Highlight Film (3-5 mins) and a Feature Film ( About 40). I do also offer the Ceremony and Speeches in full.

If desired I can Teaser Trailer (30-60 seconds),

TRAVEL COSTS?

These are included in the price. If international travel is required for a wedding this can be discussed.
